Close-up Preview is dedicated to women's fashion trend previews for one year ahead of the regular show seasons. This means, that after analysing and categorising all the actual collections as presented in the Close-up and Runway Women publication series, Close-up Preview reworks, develops and anticipates women's styles, colours, materials and accessories for the season one year ahead.
Divided into 6 main fashion themes, which are presented by many photos, recognizable and future-oriented analogies between the designer collections are shown and then translated by fashion illustrations into new outfits and details.
More than just a formal analysis of the catwalk collections, Close-Up Preview classifies the collections according to socio-cultural backgrounds and long-term fashion developments.
The progress and change of female personality are set into their historic context and reflected according to their impact on fashion.
